we enjoyed raking the leaves in short sleeves
(Matt really did 97% of the leaf raking)
followed by a picnic at The Covered Bridge Park,
and then a visit to the Walker Art Center.
Walking around the grounds of the Walker reminded me
of being in Dolores Park and I missed San Francisco just a little,
but I was also really excited to have such a nice museum close by.

Good times in Chicago this weekend. I loved walking through the streets admiring the pretty old buildings speckled with orange pumpkins. On Halloween night the 6 of us dressed as The Running of the Bulls, sprinting our way around Wrigleyville. It was especially nice to be with friends.

I'm going to be pretty sad when it's over. Last year's was a bit more eventful - with one of the best haunted corn mazes I could hope for...but this one has been good too. I bet Matt will be relieved not to be pulling the car over at every spookily decorated house though.
