Halloween in Chicago

Good times in Chicago this weekend. I loved walking through the streets admiring the pretty old buildings speckled with orange pumpkins. On Halloween night the 6 of us dressed as The Running of the Bulls, sprinting our way around Wrigleyville. It was especially nice to be with friends.

halloween

I'm going to be pretty sad when it's over. Last year's was a bit more eventful - with one of the best haunted corn mazes I could hope for...but this one has been good too. I bet Matt will be relieved not to be pulling the car over at every spookily decorated house though.

the crystal head

I've wanted one of these crystal heads for a while, and once Josephine had one, of course I had to finally go get one for myself. But I can't make a whole awesome Halloween display as nice as hers. Sometimes I kinda feel like Josephine is my cool older sister that I want to copy, only I'm the older one:)  I used to get soo mad a my younger sister Tura sometimes for wanting the same things I did...luckily we laugh about that now...

Covered bridges and other Minn sights

Covered bridges make me think of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman. I'm hoping I can find some covered bridges that are a little spookier than this one...
