Good times in Chicago this weekend. I loved walking through the streets admiring the pretty old buildings speckled with orange pumpkins. On Halloween night the 6 of us dressed as The Running of the Bulls, sprinting our way around Wrigleyville. It was especially nice to be with friends.

I'm going to be pretty sad when it's over. Last year's was a bit more eventful - with one of the best haunted corn mazes I could hope for...but this one has been good too. I bet Matt will be relieved not to be pulling the car over at every spookily decorated house though.

I'm doing my best to fill our schedule with as many fall festivities as possible, starting with The Great Minnesota Pumpkin Weigh-Off. In my imagination, this event was somehow going to tie in more with It's a Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, maybe in that I hoped it would take place in a big open field...but it took place at a little park in Red Wing, and was still quite impressive.
